Wall Mounted Heat Shields

VLAZE wall mounted heat shields are designed to be fitted behind a wood burning stove for decorative purposes creating a feature and focal point in the room but one of its most important features is that it also allows the stove to be placed close to the wall behind if the wall is made of a combustible material such as wood or plasterboard. When installed the shield reduces the stoves distance to a combustible material by half and in the case of Charnwood appliances down to just 100mm.

The vitreous enamel panel features a dual skin that provides thermal protection and an effective convection system that distributes heat back into the room. Using a rail mounted system the heat shield is quick and easy to install and is available in 3 standard sizes to suit most freestanding stove models but can also be made to measure.

Fireplace Insert Surrounds

VLAZE fireplace insert surrounds are made to measure in one piece to fit around any insert stove preventing damage from the heat of the stove on the chimney breast. Vitreous enamel insert surrounds feature a slim 6mm radius edge and are insulated with fire rated fibreboard. They are available in a range of colours, patterns and finishes to complement and enhance any living space.

Hearth & Chamber Plates

VLAZE hearth plates are a fantastic alternative to the standard slate, granite or tiled hearth. The hearth plate can really enhance and lift the look of your stove installation and are available in a variety of colours, designer patterns and finishes to suit everyone’s taste. The hearth plates can be used on their own or combine with a VLAZE heat shield or insert surround to create maximum impact for a seamless floor to wall transition. They can also be mounted to the wall behind the stove inside an inglenook or chamber.

The smooth gloss surface finish is heat resistant, easy to wipe clean and maintain. Each hearth features a smooth radius edge and is insulated with fire rated fibreboard to take the heat and weight of the stove whilst still being light to handle and install. The plates are available in 5 sizes to suit most stoves and have a 12mm depth conforming to UK building regulations for non-constructional hearths.
